There’s a lot of wildlife for you to see at Tigertail Beach. The beach has two fishing piers, which are popular destinations for many anglers who come looking for the fish of a lifetime. The best time to go fishing is during the early morning and evening hours. You’ll have more luck on those times, and you’ll also be able to spot some dolphins that might swim by. Bring your fishing rod so you can try your luck in the surf or out on the pier. If you’re lucky, you might even catch something bigger than your lunch!
Getting to Tigertail Beach From Marco Island
If you’re in Marco Island, Tigertail Beach is a quick five-minute drive away. All you have to do is head north on Collier Boulevard, go through the stop sign at Asbury Street, and drive one block to Tigertail Avenue. Turn right onto Tigertail Avenue, and then turn left into the parking lot. If you’re coming from Naples, it would take about fifteen minutes to get there by car. Head north on US 41 N for about eight miles until you reach the 17th Ave intersection in Bonita Springs (about half way between Naples and Marco Island). From there, follow Route 92 West for about two miles until you reach Route 29 North. Then just head east for three more miles until you reach Tigertail Avenue in Naples. Or if you want to make a day of it – leave early in the morning from either Naples or Marco Island and spend some time exploring these two beautiful towns before heading out to Tigertail Beach!

To take advantage of these conditions, stop by Surfside Sports & Pro Shop on Highway 45 where they offer lessons, equipment rentals, sales and more. -Tigertail Beach also has a nature park that is great for kids and families that love animals, hiking trails and fishing (it’s one of the only places you can fish from shore). The Naples Botanical Garden is just a few miles away as well. -If you like to shop or need souvenirs after your relaxing visit to Tigertail Beach, then head on over to Marco Island Center Mall right off Interstate 75 where they have everything from upscale stores like Louis Vuitton down to family friendly stores like Kmart. -Afterwards head over to Olde Marco Town Square in downtown Marco Island where they have restaurants with delicious food options and live entertainment every night that will remind you why this town is so special.
